My boyfriend bought me this for my birthday and I can’t imagine life without a trimmer now. So easy to use, I’ve used it to trim facial hair, under arm and even down below. It’s small enough to fit into my handbag so I don’t leave home without it. A godsend!

My only complaint is that this product is not available in the shops, well not in the City I live in anyway.

The major supermarkets and chemists do not stock it and most have not even heard of it - some crap marketing there Phillips....!!!

At least its available here on Amazon so thats some saving grace anyway. Rating: 4 / 5

This product can ony be used with the complete Philips Coolskin shaving system, so unless you have this this it will not be of use to you

Ordered by mistake and could not really send it back

I am sure that if you use the complete system it will be great for you

I have bought a new shaver and my skin gets irritated and red at the bottom of my kneck. So, I tried this and it has cured the problem. I will continuye to buy it now.

I have had this shaver for 5 weeks now and I am pleased with it. It replaced a Chinese Remington F720 which was quite good at shaving but very low quality and poorly designed (supposedly BMW-designed, but don’t be fooled). This one is German-made, nice to handle and feels very solid. The blue parts are rubberised which makes it easy to grip and stops it sliding into the sink when I put it down, and the controls are well positioned. The shave is at least as good as the Remington, even though the foils pivot only back-to-front and not side-to-side. It charges in about 4 hours and lasts me about two weeks (around 20 shaves) each charge. It comes with a hard plastic case which also fits the brush, although it does not have a foil-protector. I considered the more expesive one with the high-tech cleaning bath, but decided that a quick brush every few days and a wash every week or so has served me well in the past and is probably fine. I think this is a fine balance between price and performance for someone who is not too fussed by having the ultimate high-tech gadget, but just wants a good shaver.

Bought this as wanted a change from wetshaves. Its OK if you have lots of time to shave and is difficult to shave well all over particularly under the chin area. I would not buy one again.
